I was home schooled from first grade to eleventh grade, and I've always been glad that I did. I took the ACT my senior year and got a 29. I just finished my first year of college with a 3.85 GPA. I am convinced that those successes were due in part to being home schooled. I did enjoy taking some fun classes (like art and drama) at the high school my senior year. It let me know what high school was like--but I still prefered homeschool. Good luck.
p.s.
some people told me that I wasn't as smart or getting as good an education as them, but they didn't get a 29 on the ACT or a 3.85 their first year of college--I did. don't believe anyone who says that to you.

I think that home schooling is a good opportunity for a child to get a great education because government schools you have to go with the class and you may not find that hidden talent. I have been home schooled ever since the first grade and i am two years ahead of were i am supposed to be

Homeschooling is Great!!!! You can make your own schedule, work some during the day/go shopping during the day when there are not as many people around. You can finish your 180 days sooner(example- I was finished yesterday 5/17). We go to Support groups, and it is funny. My Aunt is a privite school teacher, her 2 kids are in private school, whenever I am with them, shopping, staying overnight, going to church, I almost always see someone I know. This astounds my Aunt. :) We don't have any socialization problems!!!So there you have it- Homeschool is Awesome, spectacular, great, (can't think of any others right now) I LOVE it!!!!!-I have been homeschooled since the beggining.

im going into 9th, been homeschooled for whole middle school, and i think it is the best! You can go at ur own pace, set ur own schedule, and u wont have to put up with peer pressure, bullies, and a lot of other things. Ppl think homeschooling is when someone drops out of school and sits at home, occassionaly studying. But it really is the coolest system of learning. what do u think about homeschooling??

Wow I saw this question and it's exactly what I am 10th and homeschooled. My opinion it sucks, I need social life and I think you'd agree if you're in the same boat. My best advice is to go to church to get social from there, or some other kind of regular place to meet people.

I was homeschooled as a 1st and 2nd grader, but My friend was homeschooled up to ninth grade and he says it was awesome. One problem you might have registering the grades you got at a college.
