Help me please?

Question

Hi, my name is Mrs. Stjane, you see I just finished studying as a teacher at LU. I am also a part time doctor, and a moderator at kids help phone, you see i have 4 kids, and we are moving to the country, and the school would be a half an hour drive, and there are no buses that come near us and I am to busy in the morning, So i am teaching my kids at home, so, I need a website where I can print work sheets for free withought any downloading (at a 5th grade level)

Just kidding! I live in the country too and I definitely understand the driving issues. It is a 120 mile round trip to get to the nearest theater and about 20 minutes to a town big enough to have a WalMart. I also lived rural for a few months as a kid and remember havingto catch the bus before dawn because we lived so far out. It felt like it was a forever ride on that bus in the sleepy mornings and hot afternoons (terrible for someone prone to motion sickness).



Instead of worksheets, why not find interactive websites to reinforce what they are learning in their regular studies? Typically you can type in the topic they are working on and the word interactive and get hits. You can still do the same thing for worksheets too. Just type in the topic and the word printable.



Good luck. Homeschooling moms are often quite busy, but don't take on more than you can juggle without wearing yourself out or compromising what is important. ;0)

There are many excellent reasons for homeschooling your children, but being too busy to drive them to school is not one of them. If you do not have the time to drive them to school, how do you have the time to teach them? Giving your kids an education takes a lot more than printing some worksheets off the web.

There are lots of resources online. Just type in free worksheets and you should be able to find what you are looking for. Search for grammar and math work sheets and try edhelper.com

go to websites like edukids.com, but my personal favorite with lesson plans, worksheets on every single subject you can think of, and other websites that give worksheets is .........

Wow, I take it your field of study was not of the English language. I would suggest sending your kids to a school where they can get a proper education. LOL

Seriously, your kids should be on the top of your priority list. You stated that you are too busy? Too busy to make sure your kids get a chance at a great education? Also, kids need to be around their peers. This is how they learn social cues and behaviors. Quit being selfish and get them to a school.
