MRE's are both dehydrated and freeze dried, contrary to popular opinions that they are one or the other. Here's a list of entrees: Beef Stew, Spaghetti, Cajun Rice, Chicken Noodles, Veggie Burger, Minestrone Stew, Jambalaya, NE Clam Chowder, Pork Ribs, Beef Ravioli, Penne Pasta Veggie Sausage, Beef Steak, Grilled Chicken Breast, Cheese Tortellini, Veggie Maniccotti, beef Enchilada, and Sloppy Joes. MRE's also come with side dishes of veggies, desserts and drinks, as well as condiments to spice things up. They are actually much better than the old C or K rations earlier soldiers had to eat. And they are good virtually forever. LTC M, USA, RET

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

Ask anyone in a hurricane devastated area. Some of them tasted pretty good too. Pot roast with vegetables and Chicken Tetrazzini are both tasty. Rather than me try to list the ones we had I found the list on line...

Go to your local Army Surplus store and buy a few. There about $5 each last time I knew. I used to buy them for camping. Actually pretty good too.

Call a sports store and ask the, what products they carry.

My son usually buys beef stew, lasagna and vegetable soup.

MRE's aren't dehydrated (don't need water), they are like vacuum sealed. They contain ALL kinds of foods.
