I would like to know which is more user-friendly, which is more appealing to the children, which offers more tailoring to different learning styles, and which offers the best selection of course.
Thank you!

I'm ADHD to the Nth degree and need the structure provided by a virtual school. On the other hand, Ohio Connections Academy allowed the flexibility my ADHD boys require to successfully thrive in school. And finally, the rigorous academic standards I found only through Ohio Connections Academy allow them to keep up with their classmates at the private Christian School where we send them when finances allow. What I know about K-12 is only what was provided to me by them when I was researching virtual schools over a five year period.
Hope I've been of some help.

Shaylyn is right.
We used K12 and I've seen the demo of Connections Academy. "User-friendly" is a pretty subjective term, and what appeals to one kid won't appeal to another. CA seemed to be more language-focused, meaning mostly reading. In the younger grades, K12 had a lot of games and activities to offer.
Tailoring will vary depending on whether or not you're independent or locked into the program via the school system. Shorthand: If you pay for it out of pocket, you have more freedom with it. If you go through a "Virtual Academy," you're locked into the scope and sequence they determine.
I do know that K12 has a long list of activities to go with each lesson...the idea there (if you're independent) is not to do all the activities, but to pick which one will work best with your particular kid's learning styles.
I think both companies offer a demo, which I'd recommend no matter what course you're looking at.

Since each state is different, every one of their programs are slightly different within the K12 and Connections Academy system. They are both for profit companies contracted by public schools. The students usually do similar assignments using similar books (either regular textbooks or e-books) as regular students. The main difference is that the work is done at home online instead of in a school. Many states are reconsidering their contracts with them due to poor outcomes such as low graduation rates, low test scores, and high turnover.

Personally, I would NEVER use K12 or Connections Academy. As a homeschooling mom, I like picking out my kid curriculum. K12 and CA are doing public school from home. No thank you! I'd take homeschooling any day.

You really need to specify if you are talking about the private school options or the public school options. if public school, tell which state. You also need to indicate what grade level/levels as selection of courses is going to vary a lot depending on the grade levels.

no count number the college used, even if an internet college or a public or deepest college, multiple dishonest is going on it quite is not in any respect stuck. yet each now and again human beings are stuck. each now and again human beings are stuck because they are stuck contained in the act (jointly with an internet college surfing the web and searching a question on Yahoo! or some position else from actual one of their scholars it quite is clearly getting used to cheat--in basic terms as a instructor in a lecture room might want to work out a pupil asking yet another for solutions). each now and again they are stuck because the artwork performed bears no resemblance to the artwork of a pupil of that aspect--the pupil makes use of terminology or words that look too better for the pupil and so the instructor researches added to locate the position the solutions did come from (or asks the pupil in individual for solutions to substantiate if the unique artwork replaced into the pupil's). each now and again they are stuck because they don't seem the in trouble-free words one dishonest that way--even as numerous scholars turn in artwork with the very similar solutions, using a similar wording, or lacking a similar questions interior a similar way, the instructor will be alerted and locate that they are dishonest. each now and again they are stuck because the college makes use of truly distinct questions or transformations the order to work out if scholars are dishonest from one yet another without truthfully searching heavily on the questions. each now and again they are stuck because the pupil acts responsible and finally ends up giving himself away. yet mostly, as you stated, dishonest harms the pupil. i have popular scholars who cheated commonly in a classification yet then chanced on that they did not comprehend the textile that truthfully everyone concept they did, and they were unable to regulate in harder instructions the position dishonest wasn't as uncomplicated. And convinced, colleges do have those who look on Yahoo! for dishonest scholars. those who do that's going to finally be stuck. straightforward scholars do not might want to rigidity about finally being stuck in a unmarried way or yet another, as responsible scholars do...

I'm sure glad you didn't ask about the quality of the education your child receives.
